On July 20 Kyrene Corridor and other East Valley women will have a new reason to celebrate their confident style and curvaceous bodies. A new store, Belle Lacet Lingerie, will be serving women of all ages who demand stylish bras with a proper fit.
Located in Casa Paloma Shopping Center at Ray Road and 56th Street (near Pei Wei), this feminine and attractive store will cater to women with all bra sizes, however the specialty will be size D and beyond.
Chandler residents and owners Karla Youmans and Liz Pareti share a common vision: to provide personal services to women who want to buy proper-fitting bras in an intimate setting. Having clients feel pretty and increasing their self confidence is a priority at Belle Lacet Lingerie, say its owners. Pareti and Youmans say they know first-hand the frustration of shopping for bras on-line or in stores that are large, impersonal and limited in their selection. “When we do find a bra that fits, it is generally either a “minimizer” or simply unattractive,”said Pareti.
Belle Lacet’s lingerie specialty line will be premiering with a line of sports bras, moving into bridal lingerie in August, followed by maternity/nursing in October. Post surgical/mastectomy will be introduced in the new year. Classes on breastfeeding, heart health, nutrition and makeovers will be on tap as well.
A variety of specialty boudoir items will be available to help create the “total package,” which includes jewelry, bath salts and sprays by local artists and vendors.
Home parties, set in a fun and relaxed atmosphere, will also be an integral part of the marketing strategy. Socializing mixed with proper fittings and games will allow women to buy bras from the comfort of their homes and have products delivered between one to three weeks.
The grand opening of Belle Lacet Lingerie will be July 20 with a Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting, door prizes and a fashion show from 6 – 7 p.m. There will also be gifts with purchases along with tea and cupcakes from Cake Cafe.
