Schools roundtable discussion
Kyrene Elementary, Tempe Elementary and Tempe Union High School districts will partner with the Tempe Chamber of Commerce to host a Superintendent Business Roundtable on Tuesday, Sept. 29.

Flu season prompts action
To help reduce the spread of the H1N1 flu virus and other respiratory illnesses, Chandler Regional Medical Center has implemented restrictions on visiting hours.
Restrictions include:
Children 12 years of age and under are restricted from visiting the hospital;

Camouflage-uniform tribute may net as much as $20,000
Corona del Sol’s football team raised almost $9,000, and possibly as much as $20,000, following the players’ camouflage-uniform tribute to those who lost their lives eight years ago on 9/11.
