Chandler Children’s Choir will hold new-member auditions Saturday, Aug. 6 at Arizona Music Academy in Tempe.
Auditions are open to girls and boys ages 7-18, with a particular desire to enroll singers ages 7-10 years. No experience is necessary.
The choir is offering free 10-minute auditions from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.
The nonprofit choir is entering its ninth season, serving more than 100 youth in the East Valley and focusing on vocal fundamentals, classic repertoire and varied performances.
The program includes three choirs—Cantus, Encore and Junior—with weekly rehearsals in Tempe.
A wide range of solo and ensemble opportunities are offered, with performance venues around the East Valley and a touring program for youth ages 7-18.
