The tall and mighty Aztecs held a first half lead, but ultimately could not find an offensive rhythm in the second half.

Led by juniors Bo Dolinsek and Crew Swearingen, the Aztecs clawed their way back from down 55-48 in the fourth period to close the gap to just one, but could not get a favorable bounce to overcome the deficit. The Aztecs (8-14) will look to improve their standing with only three games remaining in the regular season.

The Aztecs’ final regular season will conclude with Senior Night against Queen Creek on Feb. 3 at Sammy Duane Gymnasium.
