Summer’s in full swing, temperatures continue to rise, and near-boiling swimming pools and maxed-out air conditioners provide barely any relief. Fortunately, community taverns and restaurants offer cold drinks, refreshing fare and freezing desserts to help diners endure.
Here are some of Wrangler’s local favorites.
Nosh Arizona’s Night at the Nosh — Nosh offers plenty of unique drinks, including Night at the Nosh. This refreshing concoction starts with strawberries, pears, sugar, vanilla and Espresso Italia’s Moroccan Mint Tea. Next it’s blended with Anejo Rum, then soaked and stirred regularly for about a month before serving. When it’s finally ready, it’s blended again and then served with a light and crisp ginger beer. What says summer more than that?
Lucky Lou’s California chicken wrap — This deliciously appetizing light wrap is packed with tasty ingredients perfect for summer. It features grilled chicken, bacon, avocado, tomatoes and shredded lettuce tossed in a spicy ranch dressing, then wrapped in a vegetarian tortilla. It’s even better paired with an ice cold happy-hour pint.
Flanny’s Bar and Grill’s craft beers and growlers — Sure, Flanny’s main focus is its 24 taps of craft beers from breweries around the Valley and around the country.
