The Kyrene School
District Governing Board on July 11
approved by unanimous vote a 2-year
contract for incoming superintendent Dr.
David Schauer. The contract included an
annual compensation of $140,000 plus a
car allowance, health care and other
standard benefits.
Schauer, who has
been with the district as principal of
Aprende Middle School and assistant
superintendent for instructional
services for the past 10 years, succeeds
Dr. Maria Menconi, who retired.
Board members also approved an
approximate $200 million budget for
2006-2007. |
