Easter Sunday is approaching and
churches from around the Kyrene Corridor
are offering a variety of sunrise
services and morning celebrations on
Sunday, April 8.
Following is a partial list of some of
the planned services:
Arizona
Community Church
Arizona Community Church will have
morning services at 8, 9:30 and 11.
There will also be a “Children’s Egg-stravaganza”
on Saturday, April 7, at 10 a.m. Arizona
Community Church is at 9325 S. Rural
Road, Tempe.
Christ
Life Church
Morning services will be offered at
Christ Life Church at 8:30 and 10:45
a.m. Christ Life Church is located at
1137 E. Warner Road, Tempe.
Mountain View
Lutheran Church
There will be five services offered
Easter morning at Mountain View Lutheran
Church.
The first will be a sunrise service,
which will start at 6. Other services
start at 7:30, 8:45, 10 and 11:15.
The church will also feature a float in
this year’s Easter parade on April 7.
Mountain View Lutheran Church is at
11002 S. 48th St., Phoenix.
Dayspring United Methodist Church
Four services will be offered at
Dayspring. The first is a children’s
sunrise service which will begin at 6.
Following that, there will be a 7:45
celebration with Esperanza singers.
Two services featuring the Dayspring
Corale will begin at 9 and 10:30.
Dayspring United Methodist Church is at
1365 E. Elliot Road, Tempe.
Mission del Sol Presbyterian
There will be a 7 a.m. sunrise service
followed by two traditional services at
8:30 and 10:30. In between the two
traditional services, the church will
have a pot roast brunch.
Mission del Sol is at 1565 E. Warner
Road, Tempe.
St. James Episcopal Church
The church will offer three services,
including a sunrise service at 7:30. The
other two will begin at 8:30 and 10:30.
St. James Episcopal Church is located at 975 E. Warner Road,
Tempe.
St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church
The church will offer two separate
areas to celebrate Easter.
In a large tent outside of the church,
there will be morning services at7,
8:30, 10:15 and one service at noon.
Inside the church, there will be morning
services at 8:30 and 10:15 and a noon
mass.
