Chandler gains ‘bike friendly’ designation
Chandler has become the 44th city in the nation to receive the League of American Bicyclists’ prestigious Bicycle Friendly Community designation.
League Executive Director Andy Clarke presented the award at a City Council meeting Feb. 19.
The award recognizes efforts, led by Mayor Boyd W. Dunn and the City Council, to make Chandler bicycle friendly, Clarke said.
