Center attendance tops record

The Chandler Center for the Arts attendance reached an all-time high during the 2001-2002 season, serving 261,000 patrons.

Highlights of the last season were The Manhattan Transfer, Our Sinatra, Tomas Kubinek, Lou Rawl, The Kingston Trio, Herman’s Hermits with Peter Noone, George Winston, The Merry Widow, Lewis Black and Elayne Boosler.

Most shows were near capacity with 90 percent of seats sold. There were more sold old performances last season than any other.
