Capitol tour offers chance to meet area lawmakers

It's a special day at the Arizona Capitol just for neighborhood leaders--a day to learn about the legislative process and talk about issues important to neighborhoods.

Chandler residents are being invited to the legislature to hear from lawmakers, learn about the 2005 neighborhood legislative agenda, tour House and Senate chambers and enjoy a free lunch at the Capitol Mall.

Transportation is available to the first 50 registered participants. A charter bus will pick up participants at 10 a.m. from downtown Chandler (parking lot located on the northwest corner of Buffalo Street and Colorado across the street from the Post Office) and return at approximately 2:30 p.m.

Due to limited space, attendees must register in advance. Registration (by Jan. 27): Pam Meadows, (480) 782-3249, or via e-mail, pam.meadows@ci.chandler.az.us.
