Tempe sets public session to discuss proposed fire station

Tempe’s Fire Medical Rescue Chief Greg Ruiz will lead a community discussion about a new Fire Medical Rescue station on Tuesday, May 24, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Arizona Community Church, 9325 S. Rural Road.

The proposed location for the new station, to be known as Station 7, is the southwest corner of Estrada Park, near the intersection of McClintock Drive and Warner Road.

Ruiz will give a presentation about the location selection process and talk with local residents about the station’s location, design, and service area.

City staff will have display maps and other information for the public’s review.
