Brotherly love inspires praise for family food-drink venue

Scott may not
be camping out
in the parking lot of
the new Watershed
family restaurant and
bar in south Tempe,
but don’t be surprised
if he happens to pop
in one day.
The star of such
films as American
Pie, Role Models,
Rundown, Goon
and, most recently,
Hello, I Must
be Going is the
brother of the new
waterfront dining
establishment’s
owner, Dan Scott.
Not surprisingly, brotherly love is
a big motivator for the close-knit pair
of Scotts.
“I’m so proud of what my brother
Danny and Matt (the restaurant’s
chef and general manager) have put
together. The Watershed has such a
cool, rustic vibe and a place where
people will feel at home and cared
for,” said Seann.
“Excellent food—
awesome bar. Danny
and his staff will
make sure that you
have the best time.”
The Watershed,
at 5250 S. Lake-shore
Drive, opened its
patio in December
and has completed
renovations of the
interior, including a
50-foot-long bar.
Featured are
a well thought-out
wine list, specialty
and house cocktails,
20 draft beers, 10
large flat-screen TVs
and entertainment
throughout the week.
Lunch and dinner, featuring
American-style cuisine with twists on
classics, are served Tuesday through
Sunday. A month-long grand opening
celebration starts July 1.
