Students from three Kyrene Corridor schools — Corona del Sol H.S.,
Kyrene and Pueblo middle schools — demonstrated their patriotic fervor
as part of a massive 1,000-student combined choral group singing ‘The
Star Spangled Banner’ at the Saturday, Sept. 14 Diamondbacks –
Colorado Rockies matchup. Despite what one viewer described as an
organizational challenge akin to herding cats, the result provided an
impressive display of national pride and a great time for the kids.
