The one-hour, live event will be streamed through www.chandleraz.gov and televised on Chandler Channel 11 at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 15.

Prior to the event, residents are being asked to complete a survey focused on issues and ideas they have about their neighborhood.

The survey is available at www.chandleraz.gov/connect .

“I’ve been committed to keeping in touch with Chandler residents through my Listening Tours, and that continues to be an excellent experience,” said Tibshraeny. But his efforts don’t end there, he said.

“I hope this (Neighborhood Connect event) extends that opportunity for conversation to even more residents, who may not be able to attend one of those meetings.”

During the live event residents will be able to submit questions by visiting www.chandleraz.gov/connect .

For those who will not be available during the live discussion, questions can be submitted on the same Website beginning at 8 a.m. the day of the event.

Purpose of the forum is to allow members of the community to convene in a virtual setting, no matter where they may be. The open conversation will be driven by residents’ questions and concerns.

It is also meant to give neighbors a better understanding of the resources they have at their disposal to help both themselves and their communities.
