Celebration Plaza features a fountain and a decorative wall used to display brass plaques honoring a select group of residents, living or deceased, who have displayed outstanding civic commitment, leadership, public outreach and service to the city. The monument will be at Tumbleweed Park on the southwest corner of McQueen and Germann roads.

Nominations to the Chandler Community Services Department through Sept. 30. There is no nomination fee.

Any nominee selected for induction after the review process will be honored at an induction ceremony in the spring. Previous inductees include Eddie Basha Jr., Chandler Service Club, Lenford Calley, Officer Robert Nielsen and Henry Salinas.

Nomination forms are online at www.chandleraz.gov/parks  and at the Sunset branch library at Ray and Rural.

Information: 480-782-2727.
