Big night for little mermaids

Now dads can see just such a transformation at the 13th annual Daddy/Daughter Valentine Sweetheart Dance, 7-9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 9 (4-8 years old) and Saturday, Feb.10 (8-12 years old) at Kiwanis Recreation Center in Tempe. Harmony Ridgeway, 7, and her dad Eric will be on hand to enjoy the special evening. Tickets: $14. Space is limited; registration required. Information: (480) 350-5201.
