Tempe runoff candidates schedule appearances
Each City Council Candidate in the May 21 General Election run-off will have the opportunity to give a five-minute speech prior to City Council meetings March 28, April 18 and 25 and May 2 and 9. All speeches will be aired live and replayed on Tempe 11.

Speeches begin at 5 p.m. in the Tempe City Council Chambers, 31 E. Fifth St., Garden Level.
Candidates for the two open council seats are: Vice-Mayor Len Copple, Pam Goronkin, Carol McKnight and Jay Mansperger.
The Tempe Chamber of Commerce and The Arizona Republic will sponsor a candidate forum from 7 to 8:30 p.m. April 15 in the City Council Chambers.
