Area youth skates to yet another win

Douglas Razzano, the Kyrene Corridor’s own answer to Viktor Petrenko, is closing in on the end of another successful year of competitive figure skating.
Razzano has managed to medal in each event in which he’s competed, ending up with two Golds, two Silvers and a Bronze.
Now, after a strong showing in the Southwest Pacific Regional Championships in Anaheim earlier in October, young Razzano is preparing for the Western Sectional Championship in Vancouver, Wash., on Nov. 15.
A finish in the top four at this event could take him to the U.S. Figure Skating Championships in Atlanta in January.
Razzano is a freshman at Marcos de Niza High School.
