Aug 26 meeting to update Pecos Road plans
An informational meeting regarding planned improvements to Pecos Road will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday Aug. 26, in the media room at Conley Elementary School, 500 S. Arrowhead Drive.
The meeting is designed to solicit public comment regarding the 60 percent design plans for widening Pecos Road between Dobson and McQueen roads.Pecos will be expanded to three lanes in each direction beginning in early 2004. This is the second public meeting regarding this project. The first was held last year in October, at which 30 percent design plans were discussed.
The project will include new curb, gutter, sidewalks, street lights, bike lanes and reclaimed water main, along with a new traffic signal at Hamilton Street.
