‘Life planning’ series a boon to baby boomers

Kyrene Corridor baby boomers are being invited to create a plan for the future and identify the resources needed to do so during a life planning workshop from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on consecutive Thursdays April 1 through May 6 in the Social Services Meeting Room, top floor of the Tempe Public Library, 3500 S. Rural Road.

"Life Planning is not a one-time event because it goes beyond traditional career and retirement planning efforts," Social Services Supervisor Tim Cox, CISW, said.

"Life Planning defines how you want to live, what you want to do and who you want to be as you continue into the next phase of your life."

The workshop will guide individuals in identifying their strengths, passions and purpose. Participants will learn the right mix of options between work, service, learning, family and leisure.

The cost of the workshop is $30. For information, or to register, call (480) 350-5435.
