Stay cool with new summer hours at Kiwanis Park
Kiwanis Park Recreation Center summer hours are:
Monday – Thursday: 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Friday: 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Saturday: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday: 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Hours will be from noon to 6 p.m. on Memorial Day, Independence Day and Labor Day.
Admission fees are $3 for adults and $1.50 for children ages 6-17. Areas of the center, as well as the entire center, are available for private group rentals.
The center, 6111 S. All-America Way, is in the southern portion of Kiwanis Community Park in the Kyrene Corridor. The facility offers a gymnasium, an indoor heated wave pool, 15 outdoor lighted tennis courts and a tennis pro shop.
Services include a locker and shower room, tennis ball machines and racquet rental. A full-service concession and catering service is also available since food and beverages cannot be brought into the facility.
