Grad Night preview

With rainy skies and chilly winter temperatures, it hardly seems time to think about graduation from high school.

But that’s exactly what planners from the Corona del Sol High School Parent Teacher Organization are busy doing.

Grad Night offers an opportunity to celebrate with friends and classmates in a fun, safe environment. The event follows graduation ceremonies Wednesday, May 25, and will be held at Kiwanis Recreation Center from 9:30 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Here’s a partial listing of what’s in store:

Black jack casino, bingo hypnotist Show, D.J., dancing, karaoke, colossal slide, bungee run, climbing wall, Orbitron, bungee trampoline, mondo wrestling, radar pitch, volleyball, player basketball, wave pool, raffle prizes, food—and more, more, more.

Committee members say the PTO’s aim is to make Grad Night a safe and special celebration that’s

drug and alcohol free. A screening for weapons will be an admission requirement.

The party is open only to Corona del Sol 2005 graduates. Events begin at 9:30 p.m. and the doors will close at 10:30.

No one will be admitted after that time, say planners, so it is imperative that graduates arrive promptly.

No one will be allowed to leave until the party is over.
