2013 Mounted Officer Training Graduation!
M.O.T.A. (Mounted Officer Training Association) is a non-profit foundation that supports mounted officers inside and outside Arizona, as well as horse owners across the United States. M.O.T.A. provides the highest standards of quality training and resources for the mounted officer, as well as the backyard horse owner. Clinics and schools provide the skills and training to “bomb-proof” your horse, as mounted officers do.
City budget funding for mounted units consistently drops, but our mounted officers are still working as hard as ever to protect our communities. Volunteers help keep us active.
100% of your donations to M.O.T.A. help our mounted units by sending officers to initial and recurrent training, consisting of:
- mounted shooting
- sensory
- search & rescue
Participate in a M.O.T.A. Trail Safety, or Horsemanship Clinics, designed for the public!
- improve horse and rider communication
- responsiveness
- equitation
- sensory training
- safety
- self defense on the trail
- emergency plans
- obstacles
- emergency dismounts
Please donate to the Mounted Officer Training Association. Come out to Circle G’s arena Wednesday, and see the school in action. After a long and tiring training, they graduate! Come and lend your support!
