Temple to host Dec. 15 Chanukah celebration

The East Valley Jewish community will come together to celebrate Chanukah with Jewish music and song at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, at Temple Beth Sholom, 3400 N. Dobson Road, Chandler.

Temple Emanuel of Tempe, Temple Beth Sholom and the Tri-City Jewish Community Center (JCC) will co-sponsor the annual combined Chanukah concert, which will feature three members of the Klezmatics, considered among the most accomplished performers of Klezmer, Hassidic and traditional Jewish music.

This special Chanukah performance will include a variety of Jewish music from children's songs to favorite Yiddish melodies. Whether performing as a trio, or as a larger ensemble, the Klezmatics have drawn outstanding reviews
around the globe.

A brief Havdalah service will precede the concert at 6:45 p.m. and a dessert buffet will be held immediately following the concert.

Ticket prices for adults are $8 for the concert only, and $12 for the concert and dessert buffet. Children 12 and under are $3 for the concert and
$6 for the concert and buffet. Prices for members of B'nai B'rith Youth Organization, Temple Emanuel Temple Youth and United Synagogue Youth also are $3 for the concert and the buffet.
