Big weekend for Chandler
Historic downtown Chandler is preparing itself for what officials expect to be one of the city center’s busiest weekends ever.
Chandler officials say they are expecting a large crowd for the Chandler High School All Class Reunion, which accompanies a host of other events.
Activities for the weekend:
Friday, Nov. 8--Trolley rides from 5-9 p.m., arts and crafts sold along the colonnade, wine tasting at Kokopelli Winery, live music along Boston Street from 5-8 p.m., unveiling of David Swing’s Historical Roosevelt Dam Theatrical Backdrop at the Chandler Center for the Arts at 6 p.m. and the Sun Lakes Big Band in Dr. AJ Chandler Park at 8 p.m.
Saturday, Nov. 9--Arts and crafts along the colonnade, wine tasting at Kokopelli Winery from 11 a.m.-9 p.m., free trolley rides from noon-4 p.m., Kidz Art Holiday Ornament Painting at the Vision Gallery from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. and Bob Newhart at the Chandler Center for the Arts at 8 p.m.
