Looking ahead

After mounting a comeback that started in the third inning of their try for the Little League World Series, Chandler All Stars faced with the opposing team’s best pitcher. Unfortunately for Chandler, he was up to the task, shut down the all stars and Chandler ended up losing the game 7-5, thus ending their pursuit of the World Series.

Dustin Peterson hit the ball hard each time up, Ryan Bresnahan continued his torrid hitting pace and a host of others performed well.

After the tears dried and the coaches had their final words of encouragement, reflection took over the group. “Wow, we got further than any other Chandler team”, said one player. Soon, the swimming suits went on, the smiles returned. After all, they agreed, next season isn’t far away.
