Beat the heat!
Need to beat the summer heat? Spending a few hours at West Chandler Aquatic Center, 250 S. Kyrene Road, is a sure way to cool down.
The aquatic center features a zero-depth entry, SCS water feature, 1-meter and 3-meter diving boards, 25-yard eight lane pool, 112-foot figure-eight water slide, separate diving tank and shade ramadas.
The center’s summer hours are Monday-Friday noon-8 p.m., Saturday 11 a.m.-7 p.m. and Sunday noon -6 p.m.
Admission is 50 cents for children 2-17 and $1.50 for adults. Family season passes are $75 for a family of four and $12 each additional family member.
A 20-punch pass for children is $8, adults $24, 30 punch passes are $10.50 for children and $32 for adults.
And don’t forget: free swim from 4-6 p.m. every Sunday. Mondays from 6-8 p.m. is senior citizen night (25 cents admission); Wednesdays, 6-8 p.m., is $1 family night.
No concessions available, small coolers are permitted. No glass or alcoholic beverages are allowed.
