Tempe, Arizona – In observance of Thanksgiving, the City of Tempe will close all administrative offices on Thursday, Nov. 22, and Friday, Nov. 23.

EMERGENCY SERVICES
- Police and Fire services will be unaffected by the holiday.
TEMPE 311
- Tempe 311, the city’s Customer Relations Center, will be closed. To fill out a service request form, visit www.tempe.gov/311.
TEMPE MUNICIPAL COURT
- The court will be closed. Payments may be made at www.tempe.gov/court or by calling 480-350-8800.
TRANSPORTATION
- Bus services will operate according to holiday/Sunday schedules on Nov. 22 and 23. Light rail service will be on a regular schedule, including late-night service hours. The Tempe Transit Store will be closed Nov. 22 and 23. For information, visit www.tempe.gov/tim.
TRASH AND RECYCLING
- Residential and commercial trash and recycling collection scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 22 will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 21. Friday trash and recycling collection will remain the same. PARKS AND RECREATION
- Tempe Beach Park Splash Playground, Mill Avenue and Rio Salado Parkway, is closed for the season (480-350-5200). Kiwanis Recreation Center, 6111 S. All-America Way, and Kiwanis Wave Pool (480-350-5201) and Kiwanis Park Batting Range will be closed both days. (480-350-5727). Jaycee Splash Playground, 715 W. Fifth St., (480-350-5200), Esquer Park Splash Playground, 2407 E. McArthur Drive, and Escalante Park Swimming Pool (480-350-5800), are closed for the season.
LIBRARY AND CULTURAL CENTERS
- Tempe Public Library, 3500 S. Rural Road, will be closed (480-350-5500). Tempe History Museum, 809 E. Southern Ave., will be closed (480-350-5100). Edna Vihel Center for the Arts, 3340 S. Rural Road, will be closed Thursday through Sunday (480-350-5287). Tempe Center for the Arts, 700 W. Rio Salado Parkway, will be closed (480-350-2822). Petersen House Museum, 1414 W. Southern Ave., will be closed.
COMMUNITY CENTERS
- Escalante Community Center, 2150 E. Orange St., (480-350-5858), will be closed. Westside Community Center, 715 W. Fifth St., (480-858-2400), will be closed. Pyle Adult Recreation Center, 655 E. Southern Ave., (480-350-5211), will be closed Thursday through Saturday. North Tempe Multigenerational Center, 1555 N. Bridalwreath, (480-858-6500) and Cahill Senior Center, 715 W. Fifth St., (480-858-2420), will be closed.
GOLF COURSES
- Golf Tempe will have special hours on Thanksgiving Day at both Ken McDonald and Rolling Hills golf courses, with an 8 a.m. double tee start. The last tee times will be at 10 a.m. Ken McDonald Golf Course is at 800 E. Divot Drive (480-350-5250) and Rolling Hills Golf Course is at 1415 N. Mill Ave. (480-350-5275).
