The Alta Mira neighborhood will soon be getting a face lift.

The City of Tempe has awarded the neighborhood a $7,500 grant to be used for landscape improvements on the McClintock perimeter of the neighborhood.
The grant will go towards drip system renovations, removal of dead and unhealthy plants and planting new ones. The work will begin in the fall and must be completed by next summer.
Warner perimeter improvements were completed with a City of Tempe grant last year.
