Four file papers for City Council seats to be decided next year

Four candidates have announced their intention to seek election to three open seats on the Tempe City Council. The primary is scheduled Tuesday, March 9; the general will be Tuesday, May 18.

Fitness event promises fun for whole family

Kyrene de La Paloma will hold its second annual Family Fitness 5K and 1-Mile Dove Dash on Jan. 9 in Chandler.

School district rejects March override

At a special Governing Board meeting Dec. 9, the Tempe Union High School District Governing Board unanimously voted against going to the voters for an override in March 2010.
