Are we ready for fall yet? Here’s a suggestion from South Mountain Community College, which offers programs in Tempe, Ahwatukee and other nearby cities.

Take time out to do something you really enjoy with low-cost community education classes. Fun and enriching courses in all kinds of subjects are available, including yoga, ballroom dance or others.

You can improve your computer skills with classes in Facebook and Twitter,  learn more about digital photography and basic keyboarding, boost your business IQ with classes for the small business owner and get ready for your next vacation abroad with “speedy” languages courses in Spanish, German, French and Italian.
Credit and non-credit classes are scheduled during August, September and October at a dozen different area sites.

Prospective students are advised to register early. Class fees vary, but most are between $60 and $75, with a one-time-per-semester registration fee of $15.
