Parents' panel gets a progress report on redistricting study

A new citizens committee formed to review proposals to unify the Kyrene and Tempe elementary school districts with the Tempe Union High School District invited state School District Redistricting Commission Chairman Marty Schultz to speak at its inaugural meeting, but Schultz’s review of the commission’s progress may have sounded like a call to arms to opponents of unification.
